Growing up in Santa Cruz, CA, with a mom in finance and my dad a second-generation sheet metal worker, I never saw myself following in either of their career footsteps.

Although I was never drawn to their line of work, I can say I have always admired their passion and excitement around their careers and was inspired to find that for my own professional life.

I moved to Santa Barbara for college, focusing on the study of communications. Through school and working in the hospitality industry, what I found to enjoy the most was interacting with people, sort of a contradiction for an introvert.

I would say it is less the social aspect of interacting but more so helping people problem solve and get through their various daily obstacles.

After school, I decided I was done with the monotony of the sunny 70 degree weather that the California coast offered and was in search of some variety.

I was drawn to Seattle because of the rain but fell in love with it because of the variety it offers; the variety of seasons, landscape, culture, and activities confirms I made the right move.

I started at Krekow Jennings in 2016, getting to work in several different departments before finding myself in Operations.

With my day to day focusing on staffing and labor management, I get the rare opportunity to work with just about everyone in the company on a daily basis.
