I have been part of the KJ team since 1998. I had my degree in accounting and very little relevant work experience, but a friend working for the company secured an interview for me, and I landed a job in Accounts Payable. Since then, I have touched every part of the accounting cycle.

I have helped KJ expand their licenses and learned the tax rules and labor laws for six new states, set up a new company and kept separate books for a joint venture to meet the needs of a project, and continually look for new ways to streamline and improve our accounting operations to best meet the needs of our clients and keep up with changing technologies

The second reason, and perhaps most importantly, is that I enjoy the creative people I am fortunate enough to work with and the impressive projects that we build.

When I am not at work, or commuting to the beautiful island I call home, you can usually find me with a book, spending time with friends and family, enjoying the beach (with a paddleboard if weather permits!), or being a crew mom to a busy son who rows year-round!
